Wool blend knee high compression socks, Black
Two pairs of firm 20-30 mmHg knee highs in black Merino wool blend with a cushioned terry sole.
4.4 (150)calf 10.5-17"

This pack contains 2 pairs of knee high socks knit in a subdued black and dark grey palette. The yarn combines 40 percent royal alpaca wool with nylon, acrylic, and spandex to create a smooth, insulating layer across the lower leg. Built with 15-20 mmHg graduated compression, the knit sits firmest at the ankle and eases upward toward the band below the knee. The dark tones hide scuffs under work trousers and winter boots alike.

The construction blends 40 percent royal alpaca wool with 32 percent nylon, 20 percent acrylic, and 8 percent spandex. This fiber mix wicks moisture while insulating the skin against cold drafts. The black and dark grey finish offers a plain, dark alternative to patterned alpaca styles, though the deep shade will collect light-colored lint over time.
A padded terry loop runs along the sole from heel to toe, backed by reinforced yarn at the high-friction contact points. This added thickness softens steps on hard flooring, but the extra material takes up noticeable room inside close-fitting leather shoes or narrow dress flats.
This Medium-Large pair matches women shoe sizes 8 to 11 and calf circumferences from 12.5 to 16 inch. The upper cuff rests just beneath the knee joint to keep the barrel upright. On calves near the 16 inch boundary, the top welt can leave a shallow ring on bare skin after a full day of wear.

Compression comes from spandex under tension. Heat relaxes spandex permanently, so the two things that kill a compression sock are a hot wash and a hot dryer. Nothing else comes close.
